1. My School

The Place where we learn how to read and how to write is called school. My School is in the heart of the city. Its name is Govt. High School. It has a large building. It has fifty rooms. All the rooms are well-lit and airy. All the rooms are whitewashed. All the rooms are decorated with charts and maps. There is a canteen in my school. There are two playgrounds in it.

Nearly two thousand students attend this school. The Head Master is an able man. All the teachers are hardworking. It opens at 8 o'clock in the morning. It closes at 1:00 P.M. We keep our school clean.I like my school. 

2. Quaid-i-Azam

Quaid-i-Azam was the founder of our country. Therefore, he is called the father of the Nation. His real name was Muhammad Ali Jinnah.Quaid - i - Azam was his title. It means the great leader. He was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876. Poonja Jinnah was his father. His father was a famous merchant. After his early education, he was sent to England for higher education.

He returned to India as a barrister. Soon he started taking an interest in politics. He worked for the muslims. He never even took care of his health. He worked more and more to make Pakistan a reality. At last, on 14th August 1947, Pakistan came into being. He became the first Governor General of Pakistan. He died on September 11, 1948, in Karachi.

3. My last day at school 

I still remember my first day at school. My last day at school was emotional. I felt sad leaving my friends. We had shared many memories together. I thanked my teachers for their guidance. They taught me valuable lessons. 
I would miss the daily routine. I was excited for my future. My friends and I took many photos. We promised to stay in touch.

I shall remember the memories of my school days. My school taught me discipline and hard work. I am grateful to my teachers and school. I walked out of school with a smile.

My House

I live in a village. My house is in the middle of the village. My grandfather built it. There are six rooms. There is a vast courtyard in front of the house. All the rooms are airy. All the rooms are whitewashed. We keep our house neat and clean. We grow flowers and vegetables in the courtyard. I have a separate room where I study. In the drawing room, the whole family sits to watch T.V. Our guests also stay in the drawing room. I like my house very much.

5. My Favorite Book

There are hundreds of books on the market. I read many books, but I like Bang-i Dara most of all. It is a collection of poems written by Allama Iqbal. I read many poems in my first reading. This Book contains many beautiful poems. It has many long poems. All the poems remind us to love Islam and be United.

The poems persuade us to give up an idle life. Allama Iqbal wanted to see us free. It is indeed a great book with great lessons for all of us. I love this book and study it when I have free time. It has fired in me a love for Islam and the Holy Prophet. I always keep it with me to enjoy it anytime. It is a great book.

6.  My best Friend

I have many friends, but Ali is my best friend. He is my classmate. He lives on my street. He is my age. He is tall and smart. He is healthy and strong. We go to school together. We read together. We play together. He gets up early in the morning. He says his prayers.  He is a good player. He is a good student. He helps the poor. He respects his elders. He obeys his parents and teachers. All teachers like him. We live like brothers. I am proud of my friend.

7. My Best Teacher

The person who teaches us is called a teacher. I have many teachers, but Mr. Raza is my best teacher. He is an M.A. and an M.Ed. He teaches us English and Urdu. He is our class in-charge. He is thirty years old. He is tall and smart. He wears clean clothes. He comes to school on time. He is an able teacher. He teaches in a good way. He is kind to students. He is in charge of our cricket team. He is regular and punctual. All the students respect him. He also loves his students. I am proud of my teacher.

8. Allama Iqbal 

Allama Iqbal is a famous poet. He was born in 1877 in Sialkot. He got his early education there. He passed his F.A. Exam at Muree College. Then he moved to Lahore. He got his M.A. from the Government College, Lahore. He went to Europe for higher studies. On returning, he gave a new direction to Muslim thought. He wrote many poems. He gave a message in his poetry. He gave the idea of a separate Muslim state in the Sub-continent. He wrote many books. He worked for the Muslims. He died in Lahore in 1938. He was buried beside the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore.

9. Fashions

The present age is called the age of fashion. The fascination of fashion is everywhere, but in cities, fashion has overpowered the minds of young boys and girls. Everybody is aware of the social importance of fashion. The idea of looking fashionable has become a craze. Social media helps to spread fashion. They have affected people. Magazine pages are full of advertisements for cosmetics, dresses, and watches. These glittering things fool us. We should be wise and should not be attracted by these things. We should lead a simple life, as beauty needs no ornament. Fashion is temporary; only simplicity is permanent. We should spend our money and time on health instead of fashion. We should follow the teachings of Islam.

10. My Hobby

The work which done in extra time is called a hobby. From it we get real happiness.  Different people have different hobbies. Some like stamps. I like gardening. Gardening is my hobby. It is a very cheap and useful hobby; I spend a few rupees on seeds and get fresh vegetables. There is a small part in the compound of my house. There are flower beds in it. I have grown many flowers. They give a sweet smell. Whenever I am free. I work in my garden, I take care of my plants, and I am very proud of my park.

11. A road accident


It was the 1st of April 20025. It was pleasant weather. I had to buy some sweets. I went to the bazaar on my bicycle. All of a sudden I saw a motor-car. It was running very fast towards me. I tried to save myself. But it was a bit too late. The next moment it struck against my bicycle. I fell down on the ground. I saw blood flowing down my forehead. Then I could see or hear nothing around me. The next morning. I found myself lying in a bed in a hospital. A nurse stood beside me. There was a sweet smile on her face. She said that I would be all right within a week or so. I thanked God for his kindness.

12. Pakistani Women

Women outnumber men in Pakistan. Therefore, they are very important for our country. In the past, women were confined to homes. Now, they have started taking part in different walks of life. They are working as teachers and doctors. They are working in banks. They are working in the police and the army. They are running schools. A rural woman works in fields. Pakistani women have gained social and political awareness., They want to contribute to the development of their country. They want to improve their standard of living.

My Beloved Pakistan

2. Time

The poem “Time” is written by P.B. Shelley. In this poem, the poet compares time to a powerful sea. He describes the sea as an ocean that is filled with human sorrow. It is a sea whose water is salty with the tears of mankind. Time is continual and unstoppable. Time is sometimes calm but often destructive.

In this poem, the poet describes time as a deep and endless sea. He calls it an unfathomable sea because human beings cannot fully understand its depth and power. The waves of the sea are compared to years, which pass continuously. The poet says that the ocean of time is full of human sadness and tears.

Shelly also describes time as a powerful and destructive force. It can destroy everything. No one can stop it or control it. With the passage of time, everything comes to an end. The poet says time does not wait for anyone. Time is like a dangerous sea that is moving and destroying.  Overall, the poem gives a deep lesson about life and death.

3. The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken is a well - known poem on choosing choices in life. A person is walking in a forest. He comes to a road where the road splits into two. He can only choose one path. He looks at both roads. One looks more used. The other road looks less walked on. After thinking, he chooses the less traveled road.

Years later, he says that choosing that different road made a big difference in his life. The poem teaches us that life is full of choices. Our decisions affect our future. It also tells us that we should think carefully before making a decision
