 In this article, I have explained the passive voice of Future continuous tense with examples. I have explained the affirmative sentences, negative sentences, and interrogative sentences with examples. I have also explained the active voice of future continuous tense. I have also given the combined exercise at the end of the article.

Passive Voice of Future Continuous Tense

Introduction

1. Object becomes Subject
2. The past participle is used as the main verb
3. By is used after 3rd form of the main verb
4. The objective case of the subject is used after By

Affirmative Sentences

Affirmative sentences start with an object, and then the helping verb Will Be Being or Shall be being is used. Past participle or 3rd form of the verb is used after helping verb will be being or shall be being. By is used after the 3rd form of the main verb and at the end of the sentence, the subject is used in the objective case.

Structure

Object +Helping Verb + Helping Verb +Helping Verb + Main Verb + by + Subject

Object + Will/Shall + Be + Being + VIII + By + Subject

Examples

  • They will be eating apples. (Active Voice)
  • Apples will be being eaten by then. (Passive Voice)
  • I shall be watching a drama. (Active Voice)
  • A dram will be being watched by me. (Passive Voice)
  • She will be buying new clothes. (Active Voice)
  • New clothes will be being bought by her. (Passive Voice)
  • We shall be advertising a new product. (Active Voice)
  • A new product will be being advertised by us. (Passive voice)
  • Birds will be singing songs. (Active Voice)
  • Songs will be being sung by birds. (Passive voice)

Negative Sentences

Rules

Negative Sentences start with an object, and then" will not be being or "shall not be being" is used as a helping verb. Past participle or 3rd form of the verb is used as a main verb. By is used after the main verb, and at the end of the sentence, the subject is used in the objective case.

Structure

Subject + Helping Verb + Not + Helping Verb + Helping Verb + Main Verb + By + Subject

Subject + Will/Shall + Not + Be + Being + VIII + By + Subject

Interrogative Sentences

Rules

Interrogative sentences start with the helping verb "Will" or "shall", and then object is used. Helping verbs "Be Being" is used after the object, and then past participle or 3rd form of the verb is used as a main verb. By is used after the main verb and at the end of the sentence, the subject is used in the objective case.

Helping Verb + Object + Helping Verb + Helping Verb + Main Verb + By + Subject

Will / Shall + Object + Be + Being + VIII + By + Subject

(WH) Interrogative Sentences

Rules

(WH) Interrogative Sentences start with (Wh) words like What, When, Where, How, etc, and then the helping verb will or shall is used. The object is used after "will or shall", and then the helping verb Be Being is used. Past participle or 3rd form of the verb is used as a main verb. By is used after the main verb, and at the end of the sentence, the subject is used in the objective case.

(WH) Words + Helping Verb + Object + Helping Verb + Helping Verb + Main Verb + By + Subject

Why + Will / Shall + Object + Be + Being + VIII + By + Subject

(WH)Who

Rules

Active Voice sentences in which who is used, in order to make the passive voice of these sentences, By whom is used at the start of the sentences. Helping verb Will or shall is used (according to object) and then helping verb be being is used. Past participle or 3rd form of the verb is used after be being. Such sentences mostly end with the main verb.

Structure

Who + Helping Verb + Helping Verb + Helping Verb +Main Verb 

Who + Will / Shall + Be + Being + VIII

  • Who will be abusing you? (Active Voice)
  • By whom will you be being abused? (Passive Voice)
  • Who will be dragging us? (Active Voice)
  • By whom shall we be being dragged? (Passive voice)

  • Who will be helping her? (Active Voice)
  • By whom will you be being helped? (Passive voice)
